SpaceX Dragon Capsule
Airborne Systems is developing the EDLS for the Dragon Crew Capsule; the commercial crew module being developed by Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX). The Dragon EDLS consists of three 116 ft modern concept ringsail main parachutes – which are similar to, but meet different design requirements from the NASA parachutes, and two 19 ft variable porosity conical ribbon (VPCR) parachutes which are mortar deployed.
