Rapid Inflation Emergency Airbag Landing System
ASNA worked with Boeing to design a fast acting helicopter emergency airbag landing system. Each airbag was integral to the helicopter landing strut and inflated within milliseconds after activation. Pressure initiated active venting was utilized to provide optimized landing loads to the vehicle and its occupants.
