Orion CEV Airbags
Under contract to NASA LaRC Airborne Systems designed, fabricated and tested various airbag configurations for the Orion CEV when a land landing was being evaluated. Landing velocities up to 40 ft per second horizontal and 25 ft per second vertical were successfully demonstrated at NASA LaRC.
