I am pleased to announce that, effective 1 July 2011, Elek Puskas is transitioning from his current role as CEO of HDT Airborne to that of Senior Executive Advisor. In accordance with the long standing Company leadership succession plan, Brad Pedersen will assume the responsibility for executive leadership of Airborne Systems as President, HDT Airborne. In his new role, Elek will continue as a strategic advisor to the Airborne and HDT Global management teams as we continue to grow our business domestically and internationally through the design and development of new and innovative products.

 

Brad Pedersen, currently President of North America Operations, joined Airborne in 2006. He has extensive experience in the aerospace industry having spent the earlier portions of his career working in key management positions for Sikorsky and Boeing. During his time with Airborne and HDT, Brad has demonstrated his leadership capabilities and ability to stimulate innovation and cost improvements. The Board of Directors and HDT Global leadership are delighted to have Brad assume this expanded leadership role.

 

Elek Puskas has been with Airborne for over 42 years and has been the CEO since April 2005. The company has grown considerably under his leadership with the successful development of new products and the strategic restructuring of the company for growth. The Board of Directors would like
