Airborne Systems

Working with Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) of Japan on a challenging problem resulted in the design, test, and fabrication of a complicated airbag attenuation system for the HSFD test vehicle.  An extensive amount of drop testing was performed and compared to simulation predictions which successfully validated the system in preparation for flight test.
