Airborne Systems Delivers Full Rate Production T-11 Parachute Systems To The U.S.

Airborne Systems is pleased to announce the delivery to the US Army of the first full rate production T-11 advanced tactical troop parachute systems. This is a significant milestone in the full rate production contract.

The systems were produced at the Santa Ana, California facility which employs 315 people. The Airborne Systems supply chain includes sources throughout the U.S. including Tennessee, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Florida, Connecticut, Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Alabama and Virginia.

Carlos A. Lopez, VP/General Manager at the Airborne Systems Santa Ana, CA facility comments: “We are very proud of delivering this first production batch of T-11 parachute systems and doing our part in supporting the US Army.”

The T-11 parachute system, designed by Airborne Systems is being fielded to replace the legacy T-10 parachute systems currently in service with the US Army. The T-11 significantly improves jumper safety by reducing injuries on landing and also allows more and heavier equipment to be carried.
