Airborne Days III - Integrated technologies
Airborne Systems and their parent company HDT Global co-hosted Airborne Days III, a bi-annual event for paratroopers and other military representatives to see and experience first-hand the latest in personnel and cargo parachute systems as well as and guided precision aerial delivery systems (GPADS) technology, and search and rescue equipment.
The complementary nature of the HDT and Airborne Systems products were demonstrated to attendees of the event as one of the HDT shelters, HDT Base-X 305®, was aerially delivered on the drop zone thanks to the Airborne Systems GPADS MicroFly™ systems. A crew of 3 unpacked and set up the 300 square foot shelter in about three minutes, demonstrating not only the reliability of the delivery but the rapid setup of the shelter.
The Airborne Systems and HDT product lines work together to sustain military and humanitarian missions, to deliver personnel, shelters, or supplies no matter how remote the location.
