Air Freight Pallet Locks
Developed originally under the Aircraft Materials Limited (AML) brand to respond to the commercial and military aircraft requirement, air cargo pallet locks are a testament to Airborne Systems engineering. Airborne Systems air cargo pallet locks stops are a mechanical device simple of operation enabling to limit the movement of air cargo pallets either in the forward direction or aft of the aircraft. Approved by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), these are widely used within the industry by military and commercial air cargo carriers alike.
FLEXIBLE AND SIMPLE TO OPERATE
- Reduce the amount of floor space required with a double-sided lock hooks on both the Single Pallet and Double Pallet versions enabling the one lock between two pallets.
- Used in any aircraft with a bay floor track in accordance with MS 33601A for track stud fittings.
- Restrain air cargo pallets having edge profiles in accordance with ULD Technical Manual Standard Specification 50/1 Attachment ‘A’ Figure 1.
- Flattens below the floor rack when not in use to allow for the free passage of cargo over the rollers for easy loading and unloading.
