Air Freight Container Stops

Developed originally under the Aircraft Materials Limited (AML) brand to respond to the commercial and military aircraft requirement, air cargo container stops are a testament to Airborne Systems engineering. Airborne Systems air cargo container stops are a mechanical device simple of operation enabling to limit the movement of air cargo containers either in the forward direction or aft of the aircraft. Two models are available standard or lightweight to respond to various air cargo carriers requirements.  Approved by the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), these are widely used within the industry by commercial and military air cargo carriers alike such as British Airways, KLM, the UK MoD.

SIMPLE IN DESIGN AND OPERATION

  • Used in any aircraft with a bay floor track in accordance with MS 33601A for track stud fittings.
  • Easy to operate with a direct mechanical locking of the container and easily release.
  • Flattens below the aircraft floor track allowing for the free passage of cargo over the rollers for easy loading and unloading.
  • Prevent unauthorized removal of the container stop from the aircraft floor with a built-in security device.
  • Provide additional container security with the Standard Container Stop with increased height sop face.
  • Facilitate easy replacement of damaged Standard Cargo Stops with a Replaceable Location Plate (Stainless Steel or Aluminium).
